Přeinstalace XP = neplatná tabulka oddílů

Mám na počítači XP a Ubuntu 10.04 pozměně HW Ubuntu naběhlo, ale XP ne. Tak jsem XP začal přeinstalovávat což se samozřejmě nezdařilo v bodě formátování a od té doby mi po startu píše pouze "neplatná tabulka oddílů". Zkoušel jsem Ubuntu live a nic, marně pátrám u Ubuntu po nějakém recovery módu. Na googlu jsem našel pár rad, ale z nich jsem nejsem moc moudrej. Na disku mám 4 oddíly, bohatě by mi tačilo se nějak dostat k ext4. ostatní oželím a jsem připravený vše instalovat znovu (za blbost se platí). Předem dík za případné rady.

Zkoušel jsem Ubuntu live a nic
Co to konkrétně znamená? LiveCD nemá žádnou souvislost s tabulkou oddílů (pokud máš nastaveno v BIOSu primárně bootování z CD/DVD mechaniky).
Až v tom LiveCD budeš, pošli výpis z boot_info_script.

S tím live CD jsem to myslel tak, že jsem se přes něho chtěl na ty disky podívat, což samozřejmě nejde, když jsou v p... oddíly. Jsem s tím v koncích posílám tedy ten výpis

/dev/sda2 overlaps with /dev/sda3
Vše vypadá OK, až na výše uvedenou chybu, s kterou si GParted/Editor diskových oddílů neporadí, ale jinak by vše mělo fungovat. To znamená, že pokud např. v LiveCD klikneš na Místa → Výměnná média, měl bys tam najít všechny oddíly včetně jejich obsahu.

Pokud jsi smířený s reinstalací, stačí vymazat sda2 a výše (jestli se ti to povede), Win na sda1 může zůstat.

To je právě zrada, že tam nic není, když přidám USB flash-ku tak se zobrazí, ale ty disky ne.

Kde nic není?

Tak jsem se  vrátil z dovči a disk jsem dal do jiného počítače s Ubuntu a v roletce  Místa → Výměnná média se mi zobrazil. Když jsem to nabootoval z Ubuntu live, tak tam není. Arrange dík za podporu, mě to takle stačí Win i Linux si přeinstaluju, jsem rád, že mám svá data. Ale zajímalo by mě pro příště, jak postupovat, když budu chtít přeinstalovat XP, co jsou společně na PC s Linuxem.

Pro příště zkus testdisk. Pomohl mě už hodně krát, když mi např. Windows smazaly oddíl s Linuxem nebo Debian oddíl s daty :3.
