Dual boot win xp a ubuntu: chyba po restartování win

Ahoj, doufám že se budu vyjadřovat srozumitelně nejsem žádný odborník. Měla jsem na notebooku win xp a přiinstalovala ubuntu 10.04. Vše šlo hladce až na to, že teď když v nabídce OS vyberu win a nabootuju tak pak po restartu nebo znovu zapnutí počítače nedostanu onu nabídku na výběr OS, ale černou obrazovku s nějakou chybou, že chybí nějaký modul. Když z live CD opravim grub tak vše funguje, ale po nabootování win se vše opakuje. Pročetla jsem spoustu návodů a nějak mi z nich vyplynulo, že by se oba zavaděče mezi sebe měly poprat a fungovat normálně ???. Děkuji za případnou radu a přeji hezký večer
