ATI radeon 9600xt (pro) problem

zdravim, prosim o pomoc.
Skusal som uz vela verzii fglrx a stale mi to nepomohlo spravne rozbehat direct rendering. I ked sa mi to podari (v 2 testovanyh verziach) tak mi linux uuplne po x minutach zamzrne. Trosku sa rozsvieti displej a potom uz nic nefunguje, sem tam myska do stran alebo uuplne nic, len tvrdy reset. Prave bezim pod 8.29.x neviem presne (ako to zistim? a tiez ako zistim rychlost agp? vo WIN som s tym mal problem, ked to bezalo na 8x). Prosim o pomoc. mam gnome a ubuntu DD

Kedze som pisal prvy prispevok v linuxe, tak som pisal rychlo aby som nespadol, kym to napisem, no aj tak som 2x zamrzol  
mam nahodeny tento fglrx postup 2:

a este som skusal aj verziu 8.25.18 podla http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/8.25.18. Rovnaky vysledok ako v tej co mam teraz (8.29.6)

problem asi vyrieseny...v biose zmenene AGP na 4x (z povodnych 8x)
