Wifi cisco system pci wireless LAN adapter

Dobrý den,

rád bych používal linux na svém pc ibm thinkpad x31, 1,4Ghz, 1GB RAM, ATI mobility M6 16MB, wifi Cisco.
Několik distribucí jsem již měl nainstalováno(Ubuntu, Fedora, Mandriva). Nejvíce se mi líbí Ubuntu s Unity 2D, bohužel je pro mě jedinným a velice odrazijícím aspektem nefunkčnost mé wifi karty, tedy nefunknčnost sítí s WPA, kdykoliv se totiž jedná o otevřenou síť nebo o síť s WEP klíčem nemá wifi karta žádné problémy. Psal jsem to na několik fór, vždy jsem zdůrazňoval fakt, že jsem v linuxu amatér, bohužel neschopnost uživatelů linuxu mi poradit tak aby i naprostý laik dokázal tuto kartu zprovoznit mě vždy na nějákou dobu odradila od přechodu na linux. Proto doufám, že tady mi někdo konečně pořádně poradí a to doufám ne tak, jako například abych si pořídil hardware kompatibilní s linuxem. Předem děkuji za odpovědi

Ok, ten driver, který je natažený (airo) nepodporuje WPA.
Můžete zkusit upravit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf tak, že přidáte řádek (a enter za tím) a restartujete počítač:

Je možné, že kernel najde jiný driver, který by mohl použít. Pokud po restartu vůbec neuvidíte možnost připojit se k bezdrátové síti, požijte ndiswrapper a poslední windows drivery ze stránek cisco

no tak problém není vyřešen ale to asi bude moje chyba, protože mi na nějákém fóru poradili upravit wpa_suplicant a od te doby mi to ani nezobrazuje wifi sítě v dosahu

Pokud je ten modul v blacklistu, pak zkuste v terminálu

To by nemělo ležet pod wpa-suplicantem, čiliže pokud je wifi dostupná pod jiným modulem, mohlo by to nějaké sítě najít ... výsledek samosebou sem

PS: případně můžete místo NM zkusit nainstalovat a používat wicd

tak to vyřešilo můj problém se zobrazováním sítí, ale s WPA nikoliv, pořád se mi nedaří se do mé sítě připojit. Po nějáké době kdy se o to snaží se znovu zeptá na klíč a ten mám správný

mate tam chybu v tom scanu je SSID "Internet" a tady mate "internet" a toto je case sensitive zalezitost => velikost pismen musi sedet...

Pokud se dobře dívám, je podporováno pouze WPA - tj. pokud používáte WPA2, změňte to na WPA, případně se pokuste stáhnout do ndiswrapperu ze stránek cisco nový ovladač.
