Malá šířka posuvníků - Xubuntu 11.10 (Xfce 4.8)

Nevyhovuje mi malá šířka posuvníků (těžko se do něj člověk trefuje), ale nevím, kde tuto vlastnost nastavit. Vypadá to, že v Xfce 4.8 je šířka posuvníku nezávislá na vybraném témátku. (Mění se kde co, ale posuvník zůstává pořád stejný).

V Ubuntu stačilo editovat zvolené témátko:
/usr/share/themes/Ambiance/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

konkrétně číselná hodnota v následujícím řádku:

GtkScrollbar::slider-width = 23 a bylo, v Xubuntu to však nefunguje

Zde jsem všechny hodnoty slider_width změnil z původních 23 na 40, uložil, restartoval a nic se nezměnilo.

Poraďte prosím, jak posuvníky rozšířit.

Noo, sice nevím přesně kam, ale někam jako do nastavení panelu bych se podíval v gnome pomocí gconf-editor. A v xubuntu pomocí xfce4-settings-editor. Co bych asi nedělal nikdy - editovat něco v /usr/share/...
