Mel sem uzasny napad vymontovat disk z pocitace a kopirovat na nej  pomoci USB prevodniku, po opetovne montazi > Read Error a odmita bootovat. Tak sem nabeh do Live CD a zkusil obnovit Grub 2 podle navodu na Wiki>

Reset .... a zase  Read Error, to same kdyz dam v menu LiveCD nabootovat z prvniho harddisku. Disk je v pocitaci jen jeden, jsou na nem 4 oddily, prvni je s Linuxem Mint 9 (buntu 10.04)

Moc prosim o radu, uz jsem zkousel asi treti navod a zkousel googlit chybove hlasky ale opet se ukazuje jak o tom vsem zase vim ho....

Zkoušel jsi přes recovery mode prostě jen obnovit zavaděč,klasicky příkazem update-grub

Zkusim se jeste podivat na stav disku. Jestli odesel tak mame vyresene tema protoze se pudu utopit.

Zkoušel jsi přes recovery mode prostě jen obnovit zavaděč,klasicky příkazem update-grub

Ja se nedostanu ani do Grub menu

No jak to rict : cerna obrazovka a bile Read error, zkusim udelat reset a poradne si to prohlidnout ale nevypada to na hlasku Grubu.
No sda1 jsem do mnt pripojil, takze kdyz budu pokracovat :

Takze beze zmeny. Je to stoprocentne systemova hlaska - nedostanu se ani do Grubu. Vypaluju  ted nejaky drive fitness test, uvidime

Tak ta utilita je sama o sobe dost podivna a, ale kazdopadne mi nahlasila ze disk je vadny. Tak sem zase nabootoval do Lubuntu a spustil GSmartControl a tam spustil Extenden self test a ten probehl uspesne ! Tady je vypis z logu :

Na tom neni nic k foceni, cerna obrazovka a klasickym dosackym pismem Read Error - vlevo nahore, nic vic , nic min. Pokud necham bootovat z disku nebo pokud dam v menu LIveCD nabootovat z prvniho disku. Zkusim nejdriv pomoci DD udelat klon disku a pak zkusim disk vypojit a zapojit, púroc by ale jinak sel bez potizi pripojit, proc by z nej slo cist, testy vsechny probehly v poradku .... ja to nechapu.

Jdu studovat tu hlasku - v BIOSU jsem mel vsechny security featury vypnuty, ani bios neni pod heslem, bios se nedavno resetil po vymnene baterky ... ja uz vazne nevim.

Znacim jako vyreseno - i kdyz vyreseno to neni.
Pomoci dd sem prehodil cely disk na jiny a ten okamzite nabootoval. Spis nez HW chyba disku se jedna o to ze se nejakym zpusobem zaktivovalo zaheslovani disku podle ATA standartu nebo co ... nechapu a hlavne co s tim ted. Navic je to Hitachi disk na ktery ruzne unlock-programky nestaci.Problem je ze delam na Thinkcenter masine kterou Lenovo vybavilo spoustou opicaren vhodnych do firemniho prostredi ale jinak to ma BIOS k nicemu, poradne si tam nc nenastavite. V biosu je kolonka na zmenu hesla HDD ale je neaktivni - seda a na internetu najdete prispevky do Lenovo fora kde to lide resili tim ze poslali MB na vymenu v ramci reklamace ... na palici
 Takze budu zkouset prehrat firmware harddisku, parada  No nic diky vsem za pomoc K

Tak ja nevim jestli to bylo tim zaheslovanim, pro jistotu jsem dal starou verzi BIOSU, dal prazdne heslo jednotky - napsalo mi to heslo deaktivovani - a nahraj BIOS aktualni.
Parada az sem dobre.

Pred tim jsem pomoci dd zklopil ten disk na jiny a z neho mohl bootovat tak jak jsem byl zvykly, tak jsem to ted zkousel obracene a bez uspechu. Nainstaloval jsem na ten problemovy disk pro jistotu ciste Ubuntu 10.04  a nabootovalo to krasne !!! 
Tak jsem pomoci aktualni Clonezilly preklopil ten zalozni disk zase na ten problemovy a vypsalo mi to :

Probuh CO BYLO SPATNE ? Tak nejsem uz uplna lama lama dalajlama ale ... nejdriv "jen vyndam disk", po vlozeni disk nechce bootovat ani je li mucen, po ruznem X-tem prehrani puvodnich dat a nahrani ciste instalace najednou bootuje, pak zase Grub dela divy ze zrak prechazi .. 

No nevadi alespon muzu uklidit vsechny rozhazeny CDcka, pridelat bocnici,dat pocitac zase na misto ... Ten disk tam asi privarim at uz se nikdy nepohne.

Ale stejnak vsem moc dekuju za rady

Zkusmo jsem vymnenil SATA kablik a problemy ustaly.

Tak poškozený SATA kabel mi tohle taky dělal,jenom na mechanice,vždycky jednou za čas mi prostě přestala načítat media,taky jsem z toho skoro skončil v blázinci než jsem na to přišel

No ono je to ted  takovy ruzny nekdy ano nekdy ne ... uz sem se i dival na ten disk jeslti tam neni vaklkontakt u tech SATA konektoru, pak jsem to pripojil k externi USB redukci - ta s tim nechtela mic NIC spolecnyho, proste seani neinicializovalo zarizeni, pak jsem ten disk strcil do externiho USB boxu tam se chyt, pak v pocitaci hned na prvni pokus ...
Podle me je mozna elektronika v pekle - vadny sektory zadny, SMART test taky OK jen se ten disk po vypnuti nekdy vubec nechyti nebo nechce bootovat ale kdyz se chyti tak pracuje spravne. Jenze jak tohle testovat zejo ....

To nejde,taky tu mám jeden notebookový disk od Hitachi,testem na vadné sektory projde v pohodě,smartem i tím dlouhým taky,ale jakmile na něj začnu kopírovat větší množství dat,tak se prostě zasekne a přestane zapisovat (ovšem testem zápisu taky projde).Filesystem jsem na něm taky několikrát změnil,asi bude ta elektronika chycená,ale testama prostě projde
